I would recommend putting some felt or disk under the legs just to avoid denting with the legs.
You will get a way nicer finish if the cabinets sit directly on the flooring. It is absolutely pointless putting your flooring under the cabinets. I am also assuming there will be space to see under the cabinets so you will want the flooring to continue under the cabinets. Hi shaun no problem. Go ahead and install your kitchen cabinets directly on the cement subfloor. We ll look at it from two different angles and let you decide. Floors or kitchen cabinets.
Cabinets or hardwood floors first. Some people will install pre finished flooring before kitchen install but then you have to much traffic there i e kitchen installation finished plumbing to be done finish electrical work counter top installation etc and the floor can get easily damaged and everyone starts to blame everyone who did it. Seen this happen 100 times. If due to design circumstances for example an odd appliance height or construction anomaly your total flooring height will need to be elevated and finished higher than normal two inches or more consider installing flooring before putting in the kitchen cabinets and appliances.

Firstly its a waste of money as in an average 4m x 4m kitchen there is probably 3 square metres of flooring which is laaid for no reason. With this type of cabinet installing under it should be fine. This discussion is probably one of the most often disagreed upon subjects with hardwood flooring next to using felt paper or rosin paper. Secondly it can easily get damaged during the fitting process so its best not to have it down.
Appliances will need flooring under them.
